What types of boats do you offer for rental? We offer a Tritoon better than a Pontoon for handling bigger waves and more stability. Along as a Jet Boat for more room than a jet ski. 2019 Harris Crusier 250 Tritoon with 150 Hp Mercury engine, 14 person Max or 1935 Lbs. 2022 Scarab 195 ID Wake 3 with 300 Hp engine, 8 person Max or 1400Lbs.while keeping your layout clean.
Is there a minimum age requirement for renting a boat? Yes, the minimum age requirement for renting a boat is 21 years old.
Can I rent a boat for just a few hours? Yes you can rent for only a couple hours. We have 2, 4, and 9 hour blocks.
What safety measures are in place for renters? All safety equipement is on board, and additional life vests are avaible dock side. Additional We do require all operators to possess a boater's license even if born before 1989. Upon arrival, we provide comprehensive instructions on boating operations and safety as well per vessal.
What if I need to cancel? We understand things come up so we ask that you cancel at least 48 hours in advance for a full refund outside of weather as we know weather changes daily. You can also choose to switch your booking to a day that works better for you.
Where I can take the rental boat? There are many great places on Lake Winnebago to go. Starting where we are located at the Pioneer Marina you will find a Tiki Bar, Picknic and Picknic tables. As you venture out you have acess to High cliff, Stretches sand bar where many boats come to scocialize ont eh water and many Bar/ Restaurants in between. You also have acess to Lake Butte Des Mort, Lake Winneconie, Lake Poygan all connected by the Fox River. We only ask that the boat stays in the water and gets back at your designated time.
Can I bring my own food and drinks on the boat? Yes, please do, or visit a local Restaurant on the water. There is also the Party Mart around the corner from the Marina for all you beverage needs. There is also a Tiki bar at the Marina and Picknic Tables for before and after your trip. But you are not allowed to bring a grill on board.
How do I make a reservation ? You can call and we will happily help you book your day or you can book online.
Do I need a boating license or any certification to rent a boat? Yes, unless you're born after January 1st 1989, a boating license is required. If you don't have one, please see our page to connect to get one. A seasonal license is $10 and completed in 30-minute online.
Are fuel costs included in the rental price? Fuel is not included in the price. You will have a full tank to start. It is your responsibility to refuel or you will be chargerd the cost of refueling at $5.50 a gallon. The Tritoon is a 50 gallon tank and is great on gas. On average you may go through 1/8 to a 1/4 tank in a 4 hour period. All depends on how far you go and how much you play. The Jet boat can be conservative on gas as well when ran in eco mode. It holds a 25 gallon tank. If you you are having lots of fun going fast it will go through gas quicker.
What happens if there's bad weather on the day of my reservation? In the event of bad weather, you can reschedule to any available future date. Bad weather to include heavy wind with high waves, and thunder storms. We do not consider drizzle bad weather, as we know many fishers enjoy a bit of drizzle. If nessary we will refund your money as we look to keep good business, and appreciate your business.
Are pets allowed on the rental boats? We love our dog but pets are not permitted on any of our rentals.
What amenities are included with the rental? As a show of appreciation and to make you trip a bit easier we have coolers on board with ice for you to use. We even have adde water bottles but ask you to not litter in the lake. For more active enthusaitc we have two person tubes and tow ropes for you to use while out on the water.
Is there a deposit required for renting a boat? No you do not need to make a deposit, but you are not guranteed the day if you have not paid for it ahead of time. This is a first come first serve. Payment in full is required the day of rental.. Your credit card will be keeped on file for any incidentials
